We design and fully document custom joinery, from reception counters and display units to kitchenettes, storage and vanities. Every project comes with detailed technical drawings, 3D renders and specifications, so your builder, joiner and trades work from the same information and your project stays on track and on budget.

Our Commercial Design Process

A clear, proven process keeps your project moving and your business running.

  • We meet at your premises or our Christchurch studio to understand your business, your brand, your team and your goals. We review plans or walk through the space, take measurements, discuss budget and timeframes, and prepare a fee proposal outlining our scope and terms of engagement.

  • We review the architectural or tenancy plans with the fit-out in mind and present your brief back to you as a concept, with mood boards, imagery, initial finishes and space planning that capture the direction of the project.

  • Once the direction is agreed, we develop the layouts, joinery and key interior elements, producing technical drawings in-house. Written sign-off is required before moving to the next stage.

  • We refine the design based on your feedback and produce full drawings and specifications, ready for pricing by your builder and preferred suppliers.

  • We price and quote furniture and products, provide lead times, place orders and coordinate delivery to site around your opening date or business operations.

  • We can be available throughout construction for site visits and project management to make sure the integrity of the design is upheld, right through to handover.
